Alexandre Herchcovitch is an internationally renowned Brazilian fashion designer. With stores both in Brazil and Tokyo, he has been sent down the runways of New York, Paris, London and São Paulo Fashion Week. His collections are discussed in the editorial sections of the most important fashion and behavior magazines, both in Brazil and abroad. Recognized for his avant-garde design, he’s also an active contributor in São Paulo’s alternative night scene. The architectural brief for the 400 sqm Flagship store concept demanded a space that would reflect the hip, yet punk, essence of the brand. With the proposal to intervene minimally in the existing space, the design takes inspiration from industrial sheds. Expanding trough two levels, the store has a long rectangular plan that is enhanced by a gradient of colors.
