Campos do Jordão is a municipality in Brazil’s Mantiqueira Mountains and part of the state of São Paulo. It encompasses a city of the same name, where German-style architecture is common due to its history and German immigration heritage. The Parque Estadual de Campos do Jordão sprawls over a third of the municipality, with its pine forests and mountains. Campos is a very lively city specially during the winter season, when many Brazilians travel to the city to enjoy the nature. It is also a gastronomy hub, with many starred restaurants and a vibrant nightlife. Being it one of the most important touristic regions of the state of São Paulo, the project addresses the need of a meeting point for tourists and open-air retail.
