NTHISS is a development of new sustainable housing typologies for CDHU, Brazilian social housing system. The system was developed through the lenses of metadesign, considering all spheres and scales of social interaction. We propose not only a new type of building, but an entire community, considering the architecture as a living system and not as a circumstantial solution, allowing on-demand changes as families grow and change. The sustainability achieved through a prefab construction system, with repeatable elements, modular assembly and on-demand nature, is a cost-controlled solution tailored to local supply chains, transportation and installation, but also its functioning, its impact on society as a whole and the community created within it, making its architectural concept intrinsic part of the operation of this community.
