Competition

Competition for the Hungarian Museum of Architecture and Monu-
ment Protection Documentation Center (MÉM MDK). The programme constitutes of educational and interactive areas for museum activities, ex- hibitions, events, guides, museum pedagogical events, digital collection and communication, research, organization of scientific projects and archival functions.

The design aims to integrate the park and the museum. Using a pavilion typology, the connection within the park was further enhanced, allowing visitors to seamlessly navigate between external and internal exhibi- tions. The design is an homage and a contemporary interpretation of the authentic Hungarian sloped tiled roof. As a museum of Hungarian architecture, the building itself aims to be a showpiece.
