RED SEA MUSEUM

ZAHA HADID ARCHITECTS

Amaala/SA | 2020

Competition | Concept Design

Located on the northern headland entry to Triple Bay, the Institute will be a multipurpose facility serving primarily as a marine institute focusing on the Red Sea environment, but which will also to a lesser degree, provide related cultural and entertainment needs of the Marina Village and Triple Bay community. The project will consist of a marine institute, research facilities, laboratories, auditorium, meeting areas, display zones, and public viewing rooms, all with views over the harbour and Red Sea.

In this competition, I did several studies for the massing of the museum and later on developed the interior design and visualizations for the main Reception Lobby.
